Dorothy Savage's debut album, "Glorious Mess" is due to drop on March 30th. "Stand-out tracks on the project include Faith Begins, See Through Me, Beautiful Savior, End of Me, and I Am. Chris Sligh announced on Twitter last night that he has a record deal with Word Records, a major Christian label owned by Warner Bros, a major mainstream label. A quote from Chris: "I'm sure this will come out but when I was a kid the first CCM records I ever got had the big 'ol Word W on the label..Acapella & Amy Grant. At 16 I remember dreaming of someday being a Word artist. Wow. Dream come true!" Congratulations, Chris!

Chris has stated that in order to move forward with his life and career, he wants to make a break from his past and distance himself from American Idol. In his blog, he discusses how his association with the show has both helped and hurt him. He now intends to refrain from discussing the show and will also be removing promotional references to it from his upcoming album and tour. Read about it on his blog here.
