Amanda was the "uber" American Idol fan, and she loved Chris Sligh and the Fro Patro. She passed away on June 15th from complications from her leukemia treatment at age 21. Some words from Amanda:

"Im truly honored to be a fro patrol member and to be friends with such great people on this blog.

Fro Patrol, i always say that the fan base reflects the person they represent and I have to say, Chris and his fro patrol are some of the sweetest, most amazing people ever.

This amazing child will be missed for a very long time by so many. Her strength and faith was an inspiration to me as well as many others. Heaven has a very special new angel..

I know there are so many people who have gotten to know her a lot better than I have, but even in the short time that I have known her and the few times that we have talked I could tell what a special person she was. I will never forget what an amazing person Amanda was on earth. She truly is an angel.
