*** I Put An AMERICAN IDOL Into The Hands Of An AMERICAN ICON ***
On Friday night, I attended a Meet&Greet/Signing for one of the most popular and beloved artists in the world. The 1960's pop culture icon, Peter Max. It has been said that Peter Max is to art what the Beatles are to music. He is responsible for the psychedelic art of the 1960's and early 1970's and has continued painting to this day (in a colorful, yet evolved _style_). You can read his bio and learn about him on his site:
http://www.petermax.com/Anyway, my husband and I had commissioned a painting from him last year. We brought it back to the art show this weekend to have him sign the back. We also gave him a present as a thank you for creating the painting for us.
So, guess what part of that present was? That's right - Chris's HPF CD!

Peter happens to be a music lover and loves to listen to music while he paints. His musical tastes run the gamut - from classic rock to Nickelback and Incubus to blues and jazz. So, hopefully Chris will be Peter's inspiration for his future masterpieces!
