"Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul" is a new book that will be released on November 1st. It is a collection of short stories by some of the American Idols from each season and their fans, including an entry by Chris. You can pre-order at Amazon.com, or other online stores (Overstock.com, etc.).

Also, in conjunction with this book, there is a new  AI contest which asks the question, "Who is your favorite American Idol and Why?". You have to respond in 200 words or less and the American Idol can be from any season. The Grand Prize is a trip to LA and the 2008 AI finale. I already have this book, and it has a great story by Chris in it. The whole book is well worth the time and effort to read it. I particularly like the stories written by the fans that tell how Idol and the contestants have influenced their lives. I really think this book would be a great gift for anyone you know who is a fan of Chris, or just AI in general. I'm betting it will be a number one best seller.

This book is filled with never before heard stories from many Idols and I found Chris' to be my favorite. Anybody who loves AI will love this book, and it even features a uplifitng forward by Paula Abdul herself. I don't know about you but I already know what I am getting everyone for the holidays... BUY THIS BOOK!!!
