Watch Out World! Here comes Sligh!! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator

Chris SlighOur favorite star may have gotten ye ol' boot from American Idol, but he's not down and out!  Watch  your television for the next couple weeks, he's going to be EVERYWHERE.

Rumor right now that he will be on Jay Leno's Tonight Show Thursday, and Good Morning America and the Today Show on Friday or next week.  I'm sure we'll probably be seeing him on Ellen and Regis as well as countless other shows.

Keep checking back to Chris-Sligh.info for shows and show-times! We'll try to get the information as fast as possible, and if the segments are uploaded to the net, you'll be the first to know about it!

Hang in there Fro Patro, our leader is gonna rock the world!

Team Fro Patro, thank you all for continuing to provide information and a positive forum for us. In this wacky circus atmosphere that American Idol nurtures, you seem so decent and normal. Will grief counselors be standing by for our calls when the shock wears off?

Thanks most of all to Chris for taking every risk that brought him to this disappointing day. I'm sure there is a better way for him to pursue his dream than the crass, exploitative American Idol machine that was so careless with his talent. I pray that he will find it and continue to share his gifts with us.

Something wondrous happened to me and my husband this evening, but I couldn't enjoy it fully because I feel so sad for Chris, for his fans, for a stupid TV show that will suffer his departure and a society overpopulated by the cynical and the superficial.

American Idol further proves the motives driving the producers. Chris Sligh is eliminated the very next week after his shout-out to Idol's biggest critics. He went against the machine and he got crucified. I will no longer watch American Idol, or support it in any way. This is like finding out all over again the truth about Santa Claus.

Something to cheer you up Steve.

Half Past Forever Feeling Effects Of American Idol
It's not easy being sent home, but idol has had a huge impact on Chris Sligh and his former band, Half Past Forever. The band just released its first album and the buzz is growing......

I think Chris should host with Kelly Ripa on LIVE. That'd be awesome - their personalities together would just crack me up.

I've recorded every show you mentioned on my DVR - and they'll be recording every day until Chris shows up on them. I don't want to take any chances smilies/smiley.gif.

Thanks for the great info Kay!!

Thank you, admin!

My husband Luis recently accepted Christ as his Savior and last night we attended the Big Tent Revival at Calvary Chapel to see Pastor Pancho Juarez, whose radio ministry and podcasts helped bring him back to the Lord. Luis is not a fan of organized religion and considers most churches to be tantamount to used car dealerships, so attending the service was a breakthrough for him and a huge blessing for both of us.

This morning I watched Chris on Good Day LA and they may post the video there later @ http://tinyurl.com/25scyk. He was upbeat and joked that he should have worn a fro-hawk.

Thanks for the heads up about his blog. I have a blog, Everyone Is Entitled to My Opinion, and my AI articles are published by James Shepherd at Beavers on Idol. I haven't blogged too much lately, but I will be blogging about Chris's elimination, the Half Past Forever album, and "bye bye, Curly," which was insufferably arrogant. Over at Vote for the Worst, there are a lot of "hello, Curly" posts.
