Chris has a new song called "Hands Up" on his Myspace Chris Sligh Productions site. He co-wrote this song with Jason Walker.  Give it a listen....

Our Fro Patro picnic took place over the July 4th weekend. We attended two concerts given by Chris - on the evening of the Fourth of July, and then again on the following night. In between, we had the picnic in Centennial Park in Nashville. Everyone had a great time,  meeting each other for the first time in most cases.

Chris has just collaborated on some songwriting with Luke Menard, a top 16 American Idol contestant from Season 7. Luke has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. While he is fighting that battle, he is going the Christian music route with his career. Luke also sings with the acappella group, Chapter 6. Read about the work Luke is doing with Chris on Luke's blog (see his July 8th post). We'll see who gets that song up online first.... Luke's June 20th post discusses his latest career move.
