I'm sure others of you feel the same way about Chris discontinuing his blog until the tour is over. I really thought it had been relatively tame lately. I wonder if TPTB asked him to stop blogging so as to not give away information about the tour once the concerts began.

I'm afraid he may decide not to continue it at all, because there are always going to be spoilers out there. Hopefully they'll go away once this round of concerts is complete.

Just a little sad ,though I support him in what he feels is right for him to do at this time.

It will take a bit of the sparkle out of my summer. I have so long to wait until the tour comes to DC!

I hope that people continue to pop in here and have some Fro Patro parties on the shout box - last night was so fun!

HstryQT and fellow Fro Patro-I hope too that everyone will come here to talk about all things Sligh, I am going to miss the connection. I am almost embarrassed to admit how sad I am that he is taking the blog down. I'm afraid even when he comes back in Sept. it won't be the same.

Reality is that a degree of paranoia has set in, that the innocence of the pre-AI days is gone and the challenge of posting without fear of family and friends being caught in the crossfire is now superseding other considerations.

Chris appears to trying to remain a good guy and there are people who have succeeded in finding ways of perverting all efforts. It must be getting to be a major pain in the ass to be continually problem solving every time you want to post or respond. particularlly when the problem keeps morphing into something else equally distessing.

I so far haven't gone to other forums but obviously he has and is continually alarmed with each visit in what he has posted or responded has turn into.

The ease and freedom are gone or more accurately he has been robbed and has no apparent recourse to preserve his image to people who don't or haven't gone to the blog.
I wonder what reassessment is arrived at by September.

I any event it will probably more tight lipped than previously.

It'll all be okay in the end. I mean, people are going to hate on anyone who says things the general public has something again, even if it's a small minority. Blake said he thought the Cake fangirls were thirteen and crazy and before you knew it, all hell broke loose.

I feel bad that things have had to come down to this, but eventually it will all cool down when the people who have some kind of vendetta move on to the next season of American Idol. Sad, but true.

Man I miss you almost as much (almost) as I do Chris. He is undoubtedly going to miss you too. You are of course spot on. It sucks that the haters have robbed us (true fans) of our connection with him. It is unheard of in this business to stay as connected to their fans as Chris tried so desperately to do. What I don't think people get is, is that Chris really does love his fans and cares what others think about him, I just hope that never changes. This sensitivity is what makes him so different from the rest, well that and the fact that the guy can sing.
