Oh boy! Just got back!
Grrrrrrrrrreat show!
Hubby and I wore our Fro Patro T's and also a Fro Patro button on our hats.
Chris got me tickets in the center floor...4th row! Super close to the idols, great sound...it rocked.
Some friends of ours from our gaming site (steve-o-meter.com) also went, they had much higher up seats, and towards the end my husband got very tired...he cracked a rib yesterday and the bass was really getting to him....so he gave his meet and greet pass and his ticket to one of our friends kids, and she came and joined me.
We took tons of pictures of the show
After the show we were told to go sit in a section of empty bleachers and await further instructions....about 10 minutes later a guy came by and gave us all pop tarts..lol
About 10 minutes after that...we were all escorted to the 'meet and greet' room where my friends child and I were the first ones in....we walked around and looked for Chris, but didn't see him at all....so we went and got our T's signed by Lakisha, Chris R and one of the back-up singers...we saw Sanjaya, Phil, Melinda and Jordan....but no Sligh, Blake or Gina.
My friends kid is a HUGE fan of Blake's so she was super disappointed.
We got pushed towards the back of the room and couldn't move...there were at least 100 people there vying for the attention of the Idols.
After standing around doing nothing for about 15 minutes Sligh finally came in....and luckily enough..he entered a door that was RIGHT next to us....so we accosted him and got hugs and signatures....
I ended up sitting with him for about 20 minutes, talking to him in between photo taking and signatures.
It was actually a great evening.....even though Gina and Blake never did show up...
