Just to make sure there is no confusion, Simpsonville is in SC, not NC. Also, I am a bit surprised that Chris would play there two days before the Idol finale. I would have thought he would have to be in L.A. rehearsing, but perhaps not. Announced on our local radio station, Chris and HPF will have a free concert Monday night at Freedom Weekend Aloft in Simpsonville, SC. (I'm sure all of you are jealous as I live in Simpsonville!)
Goo Goo Dolls are playing at the festival, but on Sunday night. Tickets are required for that show.
Also, for the concert this Friday, the 11th, tickets are $15.
