hey everyone it was an amazing day. Sam i forgot to tell you some of it and im sue i will remember more later.

Anyways, we woke up at like 6:30 and went and did my hair, I have the Blake Lewis hair cut and tonight i had the Gina color. (tomorrow it will be green.) Anyways we got to the venue at like 12. So guess what the idols never came out cause it is a under ground venue. Which meant i didnt get to see Chris Sligh cause he was headed to Nashville after the show. We went and got our meet and greets, they said Chris Rich on them but they where from both. He gave us 5 meet and greets and 2 tickets, im not sure about the logic behind that. but yea. Anyways we went to get in line and who do we run into Kathy the best security guard EVER. So we take pics with her tell her where we are sitting, so she could tell Phil and Sligh. (my friend Felisha is a HUGE Phil fan) then after that we go in and get our seats, Kathy comes out and talks to us. I gave her my support bracelet to give to Chris Sligh cause he wouldnt be at the after show meet and greet. Well we soon discovered all the people we had made friends with before the show we where all in the same section really close together and 3 of them i had gave the passes to.

So the show starts, everyone know that it is Blake on the stage so yea. I got nuts though, then Chris Rich came out im screaming like crazy cause at the same time Phil comes out so Felisha is screaming. Well then finally Sligh comes out and what is he wearing my support bracelet. He pointed at me and stuff and Phil laughed at our sign we did the whole we heart cake with philing. Well Sligh pointed at me and stuff through out the show. I blew a kiss at him at one point and he blew on back. Then the show was over sad stuff.

We go to the meet and greet with all my new friends and my fro' patro' friend Risa and her friend. So we get back there and all that is there is Haley, Melinda, and LaKisha. Not that they arent great, i just had to see Blake and Chris. Well we meet those 3 and then im like where are they. They need to be here, i started to tear up and then Phil walks in and they gave me a bit of hope. so im in line with Felisha to meet Phil and in walks Chris. I go straight to his line. Im with my new friend Nikki and she is like are you going to be ok, i was breathing deep trying to calm myself. Well finally i get up there him. I got hey Chris, I'm...he goes i know who you are come here sweetheart. And he hugs me. I got to tell him about how his music helps and how today when they cut my hair off i was listening to Change the World. He called me babe and sweetheart and sweetie, and he is such the southern gentlemen. He was so amazing, he put my bracelet on. He gave me so many hugs i swear it was nuts. We talked about my hair how i had the Blake hair and i told him next im going with yours he was like cool i go then i will have Phils hair. He goes well my cousin just got Phil's hair, cause he has a cousin with cancer as well. He then told me that mine looked really good. Then I was like can i get a pic and he was like yea, i go can i get a b-day kiss to, he goes yea. So we took a pic and then he took one kissing me. So sweet, and i think God really loved me today cause my camera was being slow and that meant i had Chris's lips on me for a few more seconds. HAHA. After that i ran to Felisha tears in my eyes, and i almost knocked her down. Phil looked at her and was like darlin are you ok. haha. So after that I see Blake walk in, so i went to go talk to him. I go hey Blake I'm Amanda and i said something else and he goes i know who you are i got the meet and greets for you. So i sat and told him about the music and stuff and he goes so how all is it going and stuff. He and I hugged alot but not as much as me and Chris Rich. Me and Blake went to get a pic together and he just picked up my purse and started looking at all the pics on it, he was like wow that was a long time ago. So we take a pic and i go can i get a bday kiss to he goes sure so he kisses me and then all these people where like i want one like that he was like nope thats it. Then i turned around and Chris Rich was there again, i swear everywhere i turned he was there. Not that that bothers me or anything. But Chris goes lets get a group pic i was like what, he sat down by Blake and patted the seat in between. Im sitting there thinking holy crap i get a Cake pic without asking. How awesome is that. So they put there arms around me and stuff and yea totally awesome. Well i talk to Blake a bit more about my hair he liked my hair to i go yea i got your hair cut and he goes yep with Gina's color. (Oh Gina totally came by us at the show and was like i love your hair.) So then i turn around and Chris is there with more hugs. He kept telling me with prayer i will be fine, and dont worry you will be ok. He was totally sweet. I talked to Chris R alot. I almost started to cry and he hugged me again. I then walked up to Felisha and Phil and then CHris is there again and tells me that he is leaving and he gives me a couple more hugs and as he is leaving goes you better come to my solo tour iwas like duh, dont worry i will be there. How awesome is that. so then after that Phil just grabbs me and hugs me and is holding me and rocking. i was like what is going on. Then me and Phil start being goofy and Felisha ask him to say exactly cause he said that in one interview a couple times and i say it all the time now, on accident. So he said it and who would of known the next thing out of my mouth is that. But i told Phil that he needed to come with Sligh to go see me at the hospital and he was like oh yea we are planning on it, brining our guitars and playing and stuff. I was like SWEET. So me and Phil then took a rocker pic and then i go look at our eyes Felisha see if me and Phil have the same color eyes. so she took a pic and then me and phil started talking about how we have hot eyes and stuff. So after that we walked past Blake and i gave him one more hug and it was all over then.

This season was amazing im sad that its over, but today was amazing. I will have pics up prolly on Monday. Sorry for the wait, but believe me they will be worth it. i prolly forgot some cause its like 2 and im so sleepy. so i will update what i forgot later.

What a great experience Amanda! Thanks for taking the time last night to share it - I know how exhausting the wee-hours of the morning after the concert are- but that adrenaline is still going!! I really can't wait to see your hair. And it's so exciting that Chris and Blake hung out with you so much - especially Chris.

How was the Beat-Box-Off? (I don't know if that's what they really call it.) Because at the DC show Chris KICKED BUTT. They said he did his best yet and the whole arena went NUTS for him. Of course Blake was fabulous too -but I think we were just so surprised by Chris that we went crazy for him. Yet I was too tired and pregnant and hungry and just plain OUT of it to remember to tell him that when I chatted with him at the after party (duh).

I'm sorry you didn't get to see Gina but at least you got to see her at your first concert. She's such a sweetheart and was so nice when I met her - we compared wedding rings (hers wins!)

And Chris'll totally make up for not being able to see you when he comes for his visit after the show. You know we'll be needing our own "recap" for THAT too! And how cool that Phil is coming and they're planning on SINGING for you? Ack!! Can anyone say "VIDEO!!"???

Boy - It sure sounds like there was a lot of hugging and kissing going on! Keep thinking about that!

Seriously, anyone who says that Blake is a jerk to his fans is INSANE. He is such a sweetheart. Glad you had a great time!

Glad you had so much fun and that you shared your experience with all of us. I know it is sad to think that the season is over but you still have Chris & Phil to look forward to seeing.
Chris R. is a real sweetie. I am glad that you got to spend time with both him & Blake.
BTW-- totally love your hair!!!!
