Pleasant SC (leading worship with Warehouse band) and 10:00 PM EST - Wild Wing Cafe Mt. Pleasant SC; May 4th - 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM EST - Seacoast Church Mt. Pleasant SC (singing 2 special songs in main service) and 6:00 PM EST - The Warehouse/Seacoast Church Mt. Pleasant SC - Full show with Jason Walker. Call ahead to double check the show times before you go. I already see discrepancies between Chris's schedule and what Seacoast is posting (6:00 PM/Chris vs 8:00 PM/Seacoast for May 4th).

Also, as per Pastor Chris Surratt in the comments below, Chris's CD Release Party is being held on May 7th - 7:00 PM EST - at Seacoast Church/Greenville. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. I will remind everyone about this one again when I list next week's appearances.

Chris has been blogging up a storm lately, so check out frommymindtoyoureyes, theadventuresofsligh, and theologicaldigressions. In his main blog, he is starting to discuss the background of each song and what elements went into the process of creating the final product. In his Adventures blog, he talks about his experience in March in NYC while on the media tour. His Theological Digressions blog contains his thoughts on finding a new church in Nashville and missing Seacoast/Greenville.

"American Idol® previous finalists Phil Stacey and Chris Sligh made their Dove Awards debut alongside Mandisa and Amy Grant in a musical salute to Michael W. Smith and his 25 years of artistry, singing some of their favorite “Smitty” songs such as “Thy Word,” “Place in This World,” “Secret Ambition” and “Agnus Dei.”
