expounder, you're not sure of what you're talking about, her sales and charts positions improved after her appearance, the same way it works for others that make appearances on the show. Also, she's been doing just fine on her own.
What do 13 year olds have to do with anything? I'm ten years older than that and bought the cd. And not with "allowance," thank you. It's one of the best CDs I've heard in awhile.
That's freaking funny! The album rocks. Chris is awesome and the judges on the show were ticked off because Chris kept wanting to do his thing. Like sing his own song, and play his guitar. They started dwelling on the tempo thing to put him in a negative light.
I think it's hilarious that the band is proud of selling more records just because a bunch of 13 year old American Idol fans have nothing better to spend their allowance on...
Well I think it is HILARIOUS THAT YOU HARAJUKULAMB are even saying that!!! Of course they are proud come on now!! would you not be? or are you still to self centered to think outside the box? well at any rate CONGRATS TO THEM!!!
Gwen Stefani stock plummeted when she appeared on American Idol. Media whores will do anything for a little publicity. She never should've left No Doubt. They smokes...she chokes.
I think the point is: Look, their album is doing really well, and ironically better (on Amazon) then Gwen Stefani's album who just happened to be Chris Sligh's mentor the week he got booted. Half Past Forever is an Indie band and it's pretty darn sweet that they're selling as well or better than an established artist with a huge advertising budget and American Idol backing the whole deal. That's all.
